1962 FORD FALCON RANCHERO C-976 This 1962 Ford Falcon Ranchero Deluxe is the result of a quality restoration, respecting the original design, utilizing original or OEM components as per original specifications. It is finished in new glistening red exterior over red vinyl with black fabric upholstery, matching new door panels and new black carpeting. Powered by a 170ci inline-six Special paired with a three-speed manual transmission, it easily drives down the boulevard. Equipment includes 13" steel wheels, polished Ford-branded wheel covers, chrome bumpers, a faux hood vent, bench seating, rear view mirrors, seat belts and a push-button AM radio. Restoration included complete professional engine rebuild, rebuilt carburetor and rebuilt transmission as well as replacing the spark plugs and engine air filter, all fluids, wiring, belts and hoses. A new aluminum radiator keeps it all cool. An under dash auxiliary temperature gauge monitors the radiator. A rare under hood light makes night tinkering a breeze. The impeccable rear bed is covered with new spray-in liner in black. Exterior details include new chrome bumpers and trim, a drop-down tailgate, wing-vent windows, a faux hood scoop, and a fender-mounted antenna. All glass, chrome and stainless steel trims, emblems and grill are excellent. Body-color 13" steel wheels wear and are mounted with newer wide white wall tires. The fit, finish, and incredible quality abounds from front to rear, from bottom to top. It is beautiful, runs, stops and drives like a charm.
