1956 FORD F-100 C-921 This classic 1956 Ford F-100 retains all of its original styling, trims and unmodified body lines. Upgraded performance is with a newer Ford 302 V-8 connected to an C-4 automatic transmission. MSD plug wires carry the spark. Cooling is aided with a newer aluminum radiator with newer hoses. Power steering makes for comfortable driving. Mustang II style steering, new A arms, shocks and coil springs make for improved road response and handling. The power disc brakes, with booster relocated to the chassis rail, controls the stops. Likewise, the battery has been relocated to below the passenger floor pan. The exterior is finished in glistening red, chrome grille, chrome front and rear bumpers, all original trims, and clear glass. The roomy comfortable interior is finished with bench seat covered in red and white with matching door and kick panels. The dash features an array of gauges minding the engine. An aftermarket stereo features cassette/AM/FM and channel pre-sets, with auxiliary speakers. Cab comfort is enhanced with insulation for sound and comfort. The bed is finished in oak with stainless steel strips. The inboard tailgate latches make for a clean look. The fuel tank has been relocated to between the frame rails with easy filler access from the bed. The taillights include the old school blue dot inserts.
