1950 KELSON CRAFT 14' POWER BOAT JOHNSON SEA-HORSE 10hp OUTBOARD MOTOR This vintage power boat was built by noted world class builder Don Kelson in Seattle Washington. Kelson was a respected and prolific boat builder, known for innovative designs that dominated the power boat racing world in the 1950 - 1970 racing eras. Predominately a builder of hydroplanes, Kelson occasionally built specific boats for pleasure. This beautifully restored 1950 Kelson Craft 14' is a rare find. Powered by a Johnson Sea-Horse 10, Model QD, it is well fitted for the unique character of the boat. Original style steering, clear windshield, navigation running lights and deck mounted American flag make for pleasurable cruising. Extensive original print Johnson brochures and news articles accompany the sale as well as oars, floatation cushions, and fuel tank. The boat/motor combination rides on a fitted custom built trailer with newer tires. A full custom fitted cover protects the boat when stored.
